Delbert J. Kwan, MD
Dr. Delbert J. Kwan is a respected urologist with decades of experience in the field, both in private practice and as a hospital-employed physician. Born in Kowloon, Hong Kong, he emigrated to the United States at age six. He grew up in Queens, New York and graduated from Columbia University’s Columbia College with a degree in Biology.
He received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, He completed an Urology residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He further specialized with a Fellowship in Female Urology and Pelvic Reconstruction at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Kwan embarked on a successful private practice career in General Urology in Lewes, Delaware. In 2015, he transitioned to a hospital-employed position as a urologist at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware, where he continues to practice today.
Dr. Kwan is Board Certified in Urology and a Fellow of American College of Surgeons. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to advancing urological care.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Kwan is married with four children. He enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures.
